Register for Family and Caregiver Virtual Meetup: March 13 10-11 AM

Northern Human Services will be hosting a virtual “coffee hour” for family and caregivers of a loved one with a developmental disability on Monday, March 13 from 10-11 am.

Hosted by Northern CEO, Suzanne Gaetjens-Oleson, the R.I.S.E. meetup is designed to connect parents and caregivers with similar life experiences, foster community, build relationships and offer support in a low-key setting.

Each session will feature a different topic. The March 13 meetup will center conversation around caretaker exhaustion, inviting participants to share their own coping skills, and self-care techniques. The conversation will be led by Suzanne Gaetjens-Oleson, Emily James, Family Support Advisory Council chair, and Mark Vincent, director, Developmental Services, Common Ground & Early Supports and Services.

The event will be held on Zoom. Registration is open until the start of the program.
