Northern Human Services is committed to establishing and observing high standards
of ethical conduct in its business and operational practices. All Northern activities
are conducted in full compliance with applicable state and federal laws
and regulations, both civil and criminal, as well as those pertaining to NHS
as a tax-exempt institution.
NHS staff and all of its contractors will comply,
with the nondiscrimination requirements of:

The Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, as amended.
42 USC 3789 (d), or Victims of Crime Act (as appropriate).
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
Subtitle A, Title II of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) (1990).
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
The Age Discrimination Act of 1975.

Department of Justice Nondiscrimination Regulations, 28 CFR Part 42,
Subparts C, D, E, and G.
Department of Justice regulations on
disability discriminations, 28 CFR Part 35 and Part 39.

Employees or contractors of Northern Human Services who violate
this policy and/or any state or federal laws or regulations
will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination
of employment or contract, as appropriate.
