The intent of this state mandated program is to provide information to parents
of minor children (regardless of marital status) appearing before the Court
regarding allocation of parental rights and responsibilities. The Child Impact Program is
a seminar on how to help children deal with the issues surrounding divorce,
separation and the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities
to minimize the adverse impact on children
of the litigation process and the family’s separation.
